ELECTORS OF ROTORUA DO NOT BE MISLED The "New Zealand' Heraid," in its issue of the 26th inst., urged the electoi's to vote for Mr. E. E. Vaile, Independent | Reform candidate, cleverly inifinuating that a vote for that gentlenian was a vote for the Coalition Government, despite the | fact that the official endorsement of the Leader of the Reform Party, the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coa-.es, and the Prime Ministei, the > | Rt. Hon. George Forbes, was refused Mr. Vaile. jj The "Heraid" has repeatedly impressed upon its readers the fact that a strong Coalition Government is essential m the interests of New Zealand, yet, by its delightful inconsistency the "Heraid" urges the electors not to support the official Coalition candidate, but to give it to the man who is undouoLedly the vote- I splitter of the campaign. I The course of action as advised by the "Heraid" would ij result in giving the seat to Labour, and this is exactly what the | Anti-Labour electors do not wan: to happen. 5 | ! There is now only one tsafe course for the electors of I Rotorua to follow, and4" that is to vote for Mr. Campbell, tlie j Country Party candidate, and tfcus mahe doubly sure of the Rotorua. seat going to the Party that not only stands for Sound Gov- ji einment, but is definitely pledgel to a free brealcfast table. || ELECTORS!
