GRAND THEATRE

TO-NIGHT . A brand new battleship was anchbred in man-of-war row in Los Angeles harbour during the filming of jack Oakie's latest starring Paramount comedy, "Sea Legs."1 From stem to stern, from frowning fourtgen inch guns to anti-aireraft batteries, it had the appearance of a completely equipped nautical fighting machine. The vessel illustrates the lengths to which a motion picture company will go to provide authentic settings and atmosphere for film action. It was built and equipped by Paramount for scenes in "Sea Legs," .the Grand Theatre feature for to-night.
