LOCAL ELECTIONS

SYDNEY Friday. Mr. Lang has announced that the local Government elections set down for December will be postponed so far as county of Cumberland is concerned for about three months. This step has been talcen in view of the fact that the Federal elections are being held at an early date. The State Parliament will adjourn next week in order to enable members to take part in the Federal campaign.
