Nov. 26, 1.34 a.m. Interviewed at his home at Arneeliffe, a suhurb of Sydney, Mr. Oswald Coulton, father of the victim qf the Remuera bank sensation, said: "The news of the tragic affair only reached me this afternoon. His mother is prostrated with grief. "My son never missed a mail with a letter. He was a particularly bright boy at school. He became a visionary and wanted to set the world aflame with his name as a writer or airman. He was always writing verse and litl tle plays, but never seemed to have any success.
| "L'ater my son turned hxs attenI tion to flying ahd secured his second class pilot's certificate, but I was unable to finance his proposed long flight. Possibly he became despondent and has now,paid the terrible penalty for a mad-cap thing in New Zealand."
