ANGRY BOYS DEAL WITH MAN WHO HOAXED THEM. MELBOURNE, Tuesday. Three hundred boys, drawn to St-. Kilda by an advertisement for "three smart and tidy youths," early this morning, tackled a man whom they suspected to have hoaxed them, and threw him into the sea. The advertisement was signed "John Carlyon, Caflyon's Hotel." The hotel management denied all knowledge of it, but stated that they ! had given shelter to a man who had ; claimed to have walked from Cape York to Melbourne.
