Rec. Nov. 20, 10.30 p.m. PARIS, Thursday. Francois Coty, the multi-million-aire sce-nt manufacturer and newspaper proprietor, is the victim of an astonishing lawsuit. He married Madam Le Baron in 1900, when he was earning £6 weelcly. When he divoreed -his wife she' claimed a half-share in his colossal fortune-. Goty agreed to pay £3,440,000 in instalments of which he has paid £2,400,000, but in view of ±he difficult times he asked his ex-wife to delay the final instalment. Madam Le Baron, however, refused, insisting that the colossal alimony be paid forthwith, pleading that Coty was turning all his property into companies which could not he touched in respect of any personal claim. . -. The matter is now before the Court and Coty has pleaded that he is entitled to tiipe- in view of the huge sum he has already paid.
