GEYSER EASILY PASSES HIGH SCHQOLS' TOTAL GOOD OPENING PARTNERSHIP The Wednesday Cricket Assoeiation's matches for the season were commenced on Wednesday, in ideal weather. Playing Geyser at the High School grounds, High School batted first and compiled 66 runs in their first innings, the highest score being Alexander, who scored 21 runs before being bowled "leg before" by Jones. Geyser in their first visit to the erease had scored 125 runs for the loss of three wickets when stumps were drawn for the day. McGill (41) and Corlett (36) gave their side a good start and at stumps Lewis was unbeaten with 22 runs to his credit.
