COMMITTEE DETERMINES ALLOCATIONS FOR SCHOOLS. MONEY ALREADY RAISED — — At a meeting of the recently pointed 'Rotorua school dental c committtee, held 0)4 W'ednesday m the allocation of the various conti tions which will be required from different schools in order to mak( the' amount required as * the 1 committee's contributiori foWards post of erecting the cljpic, was f ised and a circular letter draftei be forwarded to all school eommit . concerned.,, The contributions to he raised the schools participating will be: torua Primary, £85; Convent, Mamaku, £19; Ngongotaha, £18; liaroq, £3; Oturp.a, £3; Ngohgo Valley, £2; Te Pu, £2; making 1 total of £153-. The means adopted pf raising t various amounts is being left to individual committees concerned, at the meeting it was reported in the case of' two committees, ai eouraging proportion of their al tion had already been raised. It was decided to commun with the Department requesting a copy of plans for an^A^' type c should be forwarded to the cpmni in order that some estimate for erection of the building locally be deterimned. The opinion was pressed that if the timber was cured in the district and -the i carried out locally, th'e dppartmf estimate could be reduced. In event pf a saving being made, committee intends to suggest to department that it should be portionally relieved in regard t( contribution.
