Forty-five out of the 60 States invited have replied that they are wilHng to agree to Signor Grandi's resolution at the League. of Nations Assembly in September for a years armament truce from November 4. Some States have made reservations, but M. Briand, President of the Council, declares that the truce may be consideyed aCcepted unless the Government forthj with intimate objections.
