The horough fire iiispector is I be made available for tbe inspectio of business premises. Any speci inspection required will be carrif out by Superintenderit Anderson pe sonally. The Fire Board has decided 1 assist in the cost of advertising "Fii Prevention. Week," .which it is-unde stood will be done by means bf pos brs, setting out the assistance d sired from the public and the actb | ties of the fire brigade during ti j period. A special demonstration of , fi j drill, including -jumping into ti blank'et, loweririg an unconscious pe son from a building,. and a fire tui out, will be given by members the brigade outside the station Haupapa Strebt, bh Thursday, No emher 26, at 8 p.m. The station wili be open nach eve ing during the week for inspecti( by the public and a spare alarm b( will be srtuated in a handy positit so tbat demonstrations of its use mi be given to visitors. ..
