More than ever before, the Dominion's welfare is linked with that of the Motherland. The forthcoming election provides New Zealanders with the opportunity to keep in step with Britain by showipg the Empire and the world that New Zealand also places country before partv. Sound finance, stahle government, and new prosperity for Great Britain are assured. They will also be assured for New Zealand if the nation supports the Coalition Government on polling day. Give the Goelltion Government a National Mandate ! The only path to financial safety and to prosperity is to give the Coalition Government an overwhelming national mandate. The two parties composing the Government fire willingly co-operating in the country's interest. Their policy is designed to promote confidence, security and recovery. The Labour Party has no remedy to of fer for the present crisis — their policy meaps extrav^gance and ruin. The Road to Financial Security ! Through sane financial measures, through the develqpment of our industries, an^ through Empire co-operation lies the road to financial security for New Zealand. To follow this road it is imperative that the Coalition Government should have a national mandate, giving it freedom to use whatever means may be found necessary to reach the end in view.
