THIEYES TRY TO DRAG CONDUCTOR "FROM * BUS. Thieves threw a lasso at the cqnductor of a Berlin bus, apparently with the intention of dragging him off his platform and robbing him. The bus was travelling thrqugh a western suburb at full speed when one of three men at a street corner threw fhe lasso. It just missed the conductor's head. Stopping the bus the conductor jumped off, accompanied by some of the passengers, and chased the meq. The would-he robbers escaped, leaving 80 feet of rope behind.
