WELLINGTON, Thurs. The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, left for the South tonight and after attending the Christchurch Show will return to his home at Cheviot. He will commence his election campaign on Tuesday night and will then embark on an electoral tour of the country commencing in the South. So far his itinerary has not been definitely planned. The leader of the Reform Party, tbe Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, will return to his electorate at Kaipara before setting out on a tour of the Dominion. The Leader of the Opposition, Mr. H. E. Holland, left for the West Coast last night. He will commence a tour of the Dominion at Christchurch 1 on Monday, speaking at ' Invercargill on Wednesday, at Waitaki and Oamaru on Thursday, and at Waimate and Timaru on Friday. Mr. Holland will then leave for Wellington to commence a tour of the North. It has been arranged that during the absence from Wellington of the Ministers of the Crown engaged in electoral business the Hon. J. G. Cobbe will attend to Government business at Parliament House.
