A message from Camooweal states that Butler's tixiy aeroplane struck a wire fence at the local aerodrome, while takixxg off ixi the dark and the1 xmdercar- - riage was seriously damaged. The airman, however, continued his flight and skilfully "m'anoeuVred a landing at Lbng Beach, where he will have to rexxlain for some days to effect repairs.
