GRAND THEATRE

DOUBLE FEATURE. TO-NIGHT _ Everything that makes for a gripping, thrilling, rousing entertainment with the added elements of mystery and romance, is embraced in "A Holy Terror," which was screened last night at the Grand Theatre. George O'Brien, who has no peer in outdoor romantic roles is co-featured with Sally Eilers, one of the most popular and beautiful leading women on the screen. "A Holy Terror," based on Max Brand's story, "Trailin'," depicts the adventures of a young society polo player who finds his father shot dead and decides to seek retribution. An unusual twist to the story makes for a deeidedly different climax. In the supporting cast are Rita La Roy, -Humphrey Bogart, James Kirkwood, and Stanley Fields. The last fifteen minutes of "Simba," the motion picture reeord of four year in the African jungles by Mr. and Mrs. Martin Johnson, which is at the Grand Theatre this week, are exciting enough for an evening's entertainment- The spectaele of a handful of African natives, armed only with spears ^and shields, facing and slaying full-grown lions, will thrill anyone to the core. The courage of these blacks who are determined^to destroy the ravagers of their floeks is something that could not be believed if it were not recorded by the camera. And all the rest of the film is on a par with these last minutes, for this picture is the greatest ever made of big game hunting.
