YOUNG GISBORNE'S BOY'S EARLY MORNING ADVENTURE DISTURBS BURGLAR IN HOME

GISBORNE, Wednesday. Hearing the somid of an attempted hnrglary at his home in the eas-Iy hours of this morning, a young Gisborne lad made investigations and scared away the intmderFollowing a man ontside, the lad was trapped into approaching a stationery car and a cotnanion of the burglar's snddenly jumped out of the vehicle, and the two overpowered the boy and bundled him into.it. They drove off, but finally freed him 25 miles out in the country. This was the experience which befell Frank Gardner, the 15 year cld son of Mr. H. p. Gardner, of . Gladstone Street, Gisborne. The lad reached his home at 4.30 this evening having walked the 25 miles along the railway line.
