EASY DIVORCE
NEW LAW IN SPAIN APPALS CATHOLIC FEELING. MADRID, Saturday. The Cortes, after two days' debate, has approved of a revolutionary divorce law permitting marriages to be dissolved by mutual consent or on a petition by either husband or wife, provided there is just cause. Staunch Catholics are appalled at the new measure, which is regarded as a most sweeping social change, in a country where the ideal of indissolubility of the marriage tie hitherto has reigned.
