McCONACHIE WELL AHEAD OF INMAN IN FIRST MATCH

Rec. Nov. 3, 7.0 p.m. LONDON, Monday. McConachie when play closed on Saturday was 13,120 and Inman, despite his 8,000 start was only 12,486. The result therefore was a foregone conclusion. Consequently to-day a fresh week's match was begun McConachie conceding 6000. Inman is now 6941, including a break of 388, and McConachie 1613, including a break of 597.
