GENERAL ELECTION

MR. E. E. VAILE TO CONTEST ROTORUA AS INDEPENDENT REFORM CANDIDATE UNANIMOUS INVITATION At a meeting of the Reform Party delegates from all parts of the Rotorua electorate, held at Putaruru last night, it was unanimously decided to invite Mr. E. Earle Vaile to stand as an Independent Reform candidate for the Rotorua seat at the coming General Elections. Mr. Vaile, who was present, intimated his pleasure in complying with the request. • Each one of the many delegates present pledged himself to do all in his power to further Mr Vaile's candidature. Mr. Vaile suggested that no active move should be made in connection with the campaign until the end of the session in order that no advantage should be taken of the absence in Wellington of the sitting member.
