GRIMMETT'S SUBTLETIES FAIL
— By Telegraph — Copyright.)
ADELAIDE, Monday. The weather and wickets were ideal when the South Australian-South African match was continued to-day. The visitors' position was not improved by the earlier batsmen to-day as they lost four wickets for - eight runs in the first half hour. Christy again showed himself reliable and capable. Cameron and Balaskas were unaffected by Grimbett's subtleties, saving an imminent crash. Cameron played a forceful game hitting six fours and displaying a versatile repertoire of shots. Balaskas was 'top-scorer with a valuable 61. He hit six fours in unorthodox fashion.
