EARLY IMPROVEMENT LOOKED FOR FOLLOWING ORDERS FROM EUROPE WAR SHIPMENTS RECALLED
— By Telegraph — Copyright.)
Rec. Oct. 31, 5.5 p.m. CHICAGO, Friday. Traders assert that the indications from all parts of the world presage an imposing improvement in the American grain market within the next few weeks, which will entail the heavy shipping of grain; as in the world war days. Recent exports of American grains have been increasingly heavy, due apparently to European realisation that the sole available supplies are now held in the United States. Mr. Stone, chairman of the Federal Farm Board, admitted that the Government grain holdings were moving at an exhilerating rate. He said that the Farm Board had authorised the Grain StaHilisation Corporation to again enter the "future's" market.
