STILL NO DECISION

ELECTION DATE DEPENDS ON CO'MPLETION OF SESSION BUSINESS MUCH YET TO BE DONE
WELLINGTON, Thursday. A repetition of his earlier statement that no decision had yet been reached or indicated regarding the date of the poll was made by the Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, in the House to-day. "I expect the elections will be held within three weeks or a month after the closing of the session," said Mr. Forbes in reply to a question by Mr. H. E. Holland. "It is impossible to state at present when the session will end. There is a good deal of work yet to do and I cannot say how long it will take. The intention is to have the election as soon as possible, bnt the actual date cannot be fixed until we know when the session will end." Mr. D. G. Sullivan , Labour, Avondale) : What is in your mind. What date are you aiming at? Mr. Forbes: I mentioned the other day that we hoped to elose down on Saturday week, but I don't know whether "it will be found feasible to do that. *
