WANGANUI, 'Wednesday. Wiliiam Henry Symons, butcher, of Wanganui East, has re» ported to the police that early yesterday morning, while in his shop, pepper was thrown into his eyes. At the same time'Ke was hit on the head and knocked down, and then robbed of £14 from his pocket, the shop takings whieh he had taken home on Labour Day and brought back with a view to banking.
