TROPHIES TO BE PRESENTED BY MAYOR NEXT M0NDAY FINAL SHOOT OF SERIES The final shoot of the Rotorua Miniature Rifle Club's first series was held on Monday evening in the drill hall. The trophies won during this series will be presented next Monday evening at 7.30 by His Worship the Mayor, Mr. T. Jackson. The attendance at 'the last shoot was somewhat affected by the Labour Day holidays, but a fair number of members were present. The best scores were : Highest aggregate for series, W. Bates, 492; highest off rifle, W. Bates, 118; highest with handicap, W. Donaldson and L. N. Alexander, 115, tied. They will shoot off next Monday evening. Total aggregate scores for series were : — • • W. Bates, 492; G. Weir, 468; S. Walker, 455; G. Ford, 436; R. Hay, 432; L. Alexander, 408; J. Martin, 407; J. Painton, 406; G. L. Knight, 406; W. Donaldson, 403 Z. Donaldson 383; R. Reid, 382; J. Brownlie, 380; A. J. Wh'itley, 347; F. Powell, 340.
