RELIEF NECESSARY
PLIGHT OF DEPOSITORS IN NEW SOUTH WALES SAVINGS BANK FEDERAL AID SOUGHT SYDNEY, Tuesday. Representatives of all sections of the eommunity at an enthusiastic meeting packed the Town Hall and demanded that the Commonwea'lth Government should come to the assistance of the State Government Savings Bank's depositors with a note issue. Archbishop Kelly and Bishop D'Arcy Irvine made strong appeals to the Commonwealth Bank Board to aid necessitous depositors.
