The picture carries e caption "The navy which at Jutnd in 1914 beat the ICaiser, at InI'gordon in 1931 beat Norman". The "Financial Standard's" diarist p "Does this meet with the ap'oval of Mr. A. V. Alexander, the rmc-r First Lord of the Admiralty ho is also one of the pillars of the '■operative movement?" The "Daily Express" describes the iblication as the most disgraeeful t of the election and declares : "The tale nation is roused to anger by is insolent and seditious libel."
