CHRISTCHURCH, last night. The semi-finals of the New Zealand amateur golf championship and the final of the professional championship were decided to-day. The weather was fine, but in the afternoon, a brisk south-west breeze sprang up and added to the diffieulties of the players. In the amateur championship semifinals, R. Wagg beat J. P. Mortland, 1 up at the 37th and A. D. S. Duncan beat F. C. Colbeck 9 up and 8. In the professional championship final A. J. Shaw (Napier) beat J. Forrest (Timaru) 12 np and 10.
