NEWSPAPER PROPRIETORS DECIDE TO SUPPORT BRITISH TRADE SUPPLIES FOR NEXT YEAR

WELLINGTON, ' Friday. The Newspaper Proprietors' Association have decided at a conference in Wellington to recommend newspapers to place the majority of their. orders for newsprint for 1932 with English manufacturers. The following resolution was carried: — "That in view of the fact that the Dominion's prosperity depends on the industrial prosperity of Great Britain, and also in view of Great Britain's generosity in suspending payment on the funded war debt to the amount of £870, 00Q, the committee recommends the jproprietors to place at least two-thirds of their orders for newsprint for 1932 with English manufacturers."
