WELLINGTON, Thursday. The Governor- General, Lord Bledisloe, has issued a proclamation in to-night's Gazeite deelaring notes payable on demand on the Bank of New Zealand; the National Bank of New Zealand; the Union Bank of Australia; the Bank of Australasia; the Bank of New South Wales; and the Commercial Bank of Australia, shall be good and legal tender until January 10, 1935. It is provided, however, that if by an Act of the General Assemhly a central reserve bank is established in New Zealand, then such notes shall cease to bs good and legal tender before that date, but not earlier than six months after the rate such Act is passed,
