On the recomiriendation of the Works Conimittee, the Rotorua Borough Council on Wednesday decided to advise the Rotorua Beautifying Society that as long ris No. 5 Scheme is in operation; the council is prepared to supply labour -for diggirig resideritial froritages and provide soil for top-dressing provided that the residdrits concerned supply the grass seed and necessary- ■supelwision and also undertake to keep the frontages in order after they have been laid down.
