The Wpping painters and dockers have ecided to refuse work on vessels al3&dy involved in the strike. Mr J. S. ("Jock") Garden, secretry of the Trades and Labour Counhas issued an appeal for funds °i' the seamen thrown out of employlent. He declared that the origin of he dispute revealed a clear case of 'ictimisation, but the secretary of he Stewards' Union replies that it is a clear case of Communist rot." The seamen will meet to-morrow to 6view the whole position and also eview the Conciliation Commission- ^ r's proposals.
