Payment for Butterfat The New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., will pay its suppliers for butter-fat supplied during September at the rate of ls. per 1b. for butterfat supplied for both butter-mak- j ing and cheese-making. Dairy Production Increases After a slow start, due to the sev- ! ere Winter and late spring dairy pro- , duction in the district from which the Ngongotaha butter f actory draWs its'supplies has rapidly increased during the past few days. Earlier in the season production was behind that of the correspohding period of last year, but the position has now ; been reversed and the output of' the factory to date is now ahead of that of last season at the same date and is still increasing daily. Mr. F. S. Parlane of the staff of the New Zealand ComJbined Dairy Companies in eonversation" with a "Post" reporter during the week-end, mentioned that the beneftcial effects of consistent topdressing were very notice'able and that, speaking- generally, ' the dairy pastures throughout the district were making rapid growth as a result of . the warmer Weather. Missionary Entertainment _ Something new ih Rotorua, a Missionary entertainment in aid of foreign missiOns, will be presented by the members of the Presbyterian Bible Classes in St. John's Hall, to- ; night, at 8 o'clock. Three shoft plays illustrating life in India and China Will be staged. There will also be recitations, songs, and other music/ No charge will be made for admission, but a collection will be taken up. The four-ball bogey match played : on Saturday by members of the Rotorua Golf Club on the Arikikapakapa course was won by G. Potts and R. G. Marsh with seven up. - The next best card was returned by S. E. Carr and W. Branson, three up. Captain's Trophy Members of the Rotorua Golf Club will play a consolation bogey match for the captain's trophy on Wednesday and Saturday next. The draw will be published to-morrow. On Monday, October 26, the closing day, mixed foursomes will be played, members choosing their own partners and opponents. Visiting golfers are cordially invited to participate. " *
