Shaw and Watt are leading in the professionals' event, with a fine card of 71. Shaw was again in splendid form, and Watt backed him up. well, being especially sound on and near the.green. . C. Clements and E. Douglas played steadily, for 74. In the amateurs. H. A. and J. L. Black handed in a 72 card, one stroke ahead of Blank and Tosswill.
