SYDNEY, Sunday. In the opinion of the acting Commonwealth Statistieian, Professor Giblin, there is ground for believing that I bedrock has been reached in unemployment in Australia, and that in the next quarter statistics will show a small but definite improvement, provided there is not a further collapse overseas. It is estimated that 160,000 dole coupons are issued fortnightly in New South Wales, at a total annual cost of about £6,000,000.
