Its insolvency was caused mainly >y the extraordinary depreciation of he prices of high grade bonds. Morganatown, a West Virginian own of 25,000 residents and the site if a prominent university, is left rithout banking facilities, with the closure of the Second National Bank, yhich constitutes the third bank to :lose recently. At Boston two local trust companes, with total deposits of over 7,300,'00 dollars have closed to conserve heir assets.
