MR. F. GOODSON'S INJURIES Mr. F. Goodson, who suffered ilijury when a heavy eoncrete pipe fell on his foot during unloading operations in the railway yards on Monday afternoon was more seriously injured than was at first thought. He was operated on on Monday evening, the whole of the toes on the crushed foot being amputated. Yesterday afternoon it was found necessary to again place the patient under an anaesthetic for further treatment. It was reported last evening that Mr. Goodson was progressing as well as could be expected.
