Rec. Oct. 7, 11.55 p.m. SHANGHAI, Wednesday. Colonel and Mrs Lindburgh's world flight has been abandoned and the couple will leave on a Japanese express liner for America to-morrow. The damaged monoplane will follow by a later steamer. The death of * Senator DwightMorrow is the cause of the abandonment of the flight.
