LABOUR MEMBER'S PROTEST AT GLASGOW POLICE METHODS "OUR LIVES OR YOURS" LONDON, Saturday. In the House of Commorts, following a back bencb protest at the police measures in Thursday's disturbances at Glasgow, and the Secretary of Scotland's (Sir Archibald Sinclair) denial of repression, Mr. D. Kirkwood (Labour, Dumbarton) said: "If you do not change the demeanour of the authorities in Glasgow you will have a chance of putting every one of us in gaol. You will take our Iives or we yours. Do not think we will stand by and see our people batoned." The Speaker called for the next business.
