MINORITY DELEGATES MEET MAHATMA GANDHI IN PRIVATE "CONVERSATIONS PROCEEDING" (British Official Wireless). RUGBY, Saturday. The first informal meeting of representatives of the different interests and groups of the Minorities Committee of the India Round Table Conference was held in private today at St. James' Palace. At its conclusion the following statement was issued : "Certain delegates of the BritishIndian delegation met Mr. Gandhi and discussed certain matters. The conversations are proceeding. It was decided that no statements should be issued until the deliberations are concluded."
