WELLINGTON, Thursday. The competition conducted by the Post and Telegraph Department for the design of a new issue of postage and revenue stamps ranging in 15 denominations from id to' 3/closed to-day, but actually most of the packages of designs had come to hand a good deal earlier. Numbers of designs were received from all parts of the world and the Government will set up a board to considdr the designs of the different. issues.
