Rec. Sept. 30, 9.45 p.m. CANBERRA, Wednesday. Mr E. G. Theodore, Federal Treasurer, announced in the House of Representatives that the Government had agreed that it would be inadvisable to make any change. in the exchange rates which would mean n sudden drop at present. - He added that negotiations between the Government and the Commonwealth Bank had been concluded, but he was hopeful of getting the money he ne'eded.
