AUSTRALIAN TRADE BALANCE SHOWS SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT COMPARISON WITH LAST YEAR CANBERRA, Tuesday. Australia's overseas trading position is £4,000,000 better for July and August than it was for the correspopding period of 1930. The exports for the two months exceeded imports by £2,000,000, whereas last year there was an adverse balance of £2,000,000.
