WOOL RETURNING TO FAVOUR AS TEXTILE BEATING ALL COMPETITORS. LONDON, Saturday. A bright prospect for wool is prophesised by Dr. Sydney G. Barker (Direetor of Research for the British Research Association for the Woollen and Worsted Industries (Torredon, Headingley, Leeds). Dr. Barker at the Science Congress said wool is returning to favour as a textile. The experience of Bradford shows that it is increasing in popularity as an apparel. Wool is more efficient than artificial textiles, and has held its own despite all competition.
