LONDON, Saturday. At the wool saies 10.161 bales were offered including 3168 of New Zealand. . About 4780 were sold. There was a strong market with active home and continental demand. Compared with the July series scoured merinos were unchanged; greasy merinos and fine crossbreds par to 5 per cent. up; medium coarse crossbreds, unchanged; slipes, 5 to 10 per cent. up, lower grades 5 per cent. up.
