(To the Editor). Sir, — Will you kindly grant us space to thanlc those of your readers who have responded to our invitation to collect and forward used stamps for the furtherance of our work. The ! gross proceeds from this source during the last financial years was £55 I (a record) and our "very warmest thanks is lccorded to all who helped ! us to attain this result. We again launch an appeal for as many stamps as can be colleeted. Many millions are annually consigned to the waste paper basket! Will those who have opportunity conserve these, and f?rward to us to aid in the rescue and maintenance of neglected and destitute children? Large and small parcels will be gratefully acknowledged. — I am. etc.
