FRANCE AND GERMANY french will propose economic alliance to berlin CONSULTATION SUGGESTED

(By Teleg'raph-

PARIS, Thursday. A British United Press message states that proposals, amounting to an economic alliance between France and Germanjq will be made when M. Laval, Prime Minister; and M. Briand, Foreign Secretary, meet in Berlin in the week-end. Among the industries involved in a comprehensive scheme for co-operation are shipping, steele productions and aerial transport. It will also be suggested that France and Germany take the lead in drawing up a scientific scheme of emigration as a cure for unemployment. In the political field France will propose that the two countries agree to consult and exchange views whenever political and economic questions arise between them.
