SOVIET MINISTER OF WAR SENT TO FAR EAST
RED ARMY REINFORCED Rec. Sept. 22, 8.5 p.m. LONDON, Tuesday. A Riga exchange states that after informing the Chinese and Japanese ambassadors that it could not be indifferent to the conflict in Manchuria, the Soviet has ordered the War Minister, M. Varoshinof to proceed immediately to the Far East where the Red Army is recei'ving reinforcements.
