PARIS, Tuesday. The effects of the fall in sterling are already being felt on the Riviera. A great trek homewards has begun of British expatriates who settled there when the franc was soaring. Now the pound is officially quoted at 100 to 108 francs they are losing 3/- to 4/- in every £1, and are offering to let or sell villas to French people, who will miss their money, as it is estimated that ^British tourists spend £22,000,000 annually in France. This will be cut down by at least half next year.
