-Cnnvri.J.ht

By Telephone —

WANGANUI, Thursday. There was a dramatic ending to the professional wrestling bout Tenchews against Elliot hex-e to-night. Elliot, attempting a flying tackle in the seventh round, was beaten by a sidestep and landed on the boards forehead first. He lay insensible as the. referee counted him out. Prior to that the bout had produced hard wrestling. Tenchews secured a fall in the third round with a body scissors, Elliot winning the fifth with a crucifix. The prospects for the seventh and eighth rounds were quite. good when Elliot made the foolish move which rendered him unconscious and gave Tenchews the bout.
