TENDERS FOR DESTROYERS VIEWS ON PROPOSED HOLIDAY

WASHINGTON, Wednes. The Navy Department has opened tenders for the construction of eleven destroyers for the United States Navy. The State Department has been studying the advantages to be. derived from the naval building holiday. Officials are sympathetic toward the proposals for one as advanced by the Italian Foreign Minister (Signor Grandi ) , and Senator Borah (Idaho).
